In 2018, CNBC’s American Greed program featured one of Stephen’s biggest health care fraud cases as a prosecutor. The case involved a private hospice that engaged in health care fraud for years and ultimately resulted in the convictions of the company and multiple executives, including the hospice’s CEO and its compliance officer.
